It has been several months now that La Cevicheria opened in the heart of Ixelles.
Here, we serve – with no surprise – Ceviche, a typical Peruvian dish made of raw fish cured in citrus juices, and spiced with chili peppers. But what makes the place so special is the originality of its dishes: from the classic Peruvian Sea Bream, to the more complex Octopus with Kalamata olives, Tuna Nikkei and Combawa Sea Bass. A delight for the taste buds!
Warm dishes, such as Lomo Saltado or Marinated Beef Anticuchos, are also suggested along with mouthwatering side dishes like for instance a sweet potato puree topped with melting cheddar.
If you’re feeling festive, I would definitely recommend their homemade cocktails, which are essentially made of Pisco – a brandy produced in winemaking regions of Peru and Chile.
