Madklubben Bistro-de-Luxe is the first Madklubben restaurant that we have tested.
We arrived without a reservation and were told that the waiting time was about an hour, but hopefully we got seated before then.
To start with, I took a salmon tartare which was extremely fresh but above all well-presented. In fact, it looked like all dishes came straight out of a gastronomic restaurant!
For the main course, we both took the fish of the day with crushed potatoes as a side.
As if I hadn’t eaten enough, I then ordered a “Brungsviger” which is a traditional Danish dessert composed of a buttered brioche soaked in golden sirup with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. It was to die for!
Globally, we had an amazing experience in both of the Madklubben restaurants we went to, and I would definitely recommend them. They serve high-quality food for decent prices, which is hard to find here in Copenhagen!
