Alex Sushi

Strandpromenaden 11, 0254 Oslo, Norway

Alex Sushi was the first restaurant I had been recommended by locals when arriving in Norway. It had been described to me as the “best place to have sushis in Oslo”. However, given the expensive prices, I was waiting for a special occasion to try it out.

When my birthday finally arrived, I had the chance to be invited there by my godfather for lunch. I chose to sit at a table rather than at the bar in order to enjoy a nice view of the harbor. But if you do sit at the bar, you can see the Chef make the sushis right in front of you!

We opted for an “Executive” menu, a plate of soft-shell crab makis with avocado and finally, a plate of crunchy salmon makis with asparagus. It was exquisite!
