At first glance, the city centre of Tromsø might seem old-fashioned and devoid of trendy places. However, during my short stay, I have spotted a couple of very nice cafés and restaurants.
One of them is Kaffebønna, a traditional bakery where all the locals (and tourists) meet to drink a latte along with a delicious pastry.
The place is very cosy and is perfect to shelter from the Arctic cold. The staff isn’t very welcoming, but I have been used to it since my arrival in Norway!
If you are willing to give away 98 NOK for a sandwich, I would definitely go for the one with the 5-grain bread, which is honestly a killer!
